REALZA CAPITAL INVESTS IN GARY'S WORKWEAR TO CONTINUE GROWTH AND INTERNATIONALISATION PROJECT

The private equity fund Realza Capital has acquired a majority stake in Gary's Workwear, one of the leaders in Spain in the design, finishing and marketing of workwear for specialised shops, with a high positioning in terms of design, quality and price. Luis Martínez, founder and CEO of Gary's, holds a substantial stake in the company and will continue to lead the company in the future.

Founded in 2001 and based in Velez Rubio (Almeria), Gary's has experienced strong growth in recent years thanks to its renowned design, wide range of products and excellent service that translates into a high recurrence of customers. By 2023 it expects to reach a turnover of 22 million euros with a workforce of approximately 100 employees.

Realza Capital will support Gary's ambitious development plan to double sales over the next 4 years by expanding its target sectors and continuing to expand its international business in neighbouring European countries. To this end, it plans to invest in new facilities that will guarantee the potential for expansion, improve the efficiency of its processes and maintain its excellent customer service.

One to One (Corporate Finance) and Arwood (legal) advised the company while Grant Thornton (legal) advised Realza Capital. Due Diligence has been carried out by Grant Thornton, EY, KPMG and Baker Tilly among others.
